Our Cooking Experiences

Over the weekend we made different dishes and then we discussed whether or not they were healthy.
We thought that the Spring Rolls that Will made were sort of healthy. We thought that the fish sauce and soy sauce had too much salt but the ingredients of carrots, ginger, onion, garlic and cabbage made the Spring Rolls healthy.
Natasha's meal of Roast Lamb with rosemary and salad was healthy because it had lettuce, broccoli, carrots, beans and meat.
Peter's Chicken and Vegetable Stirfry was healthy because it had a lot of vegetables (broccoli, cauliflower, leeks, baby corn, snow peas, beans and carrot).
Piers' Stirfry was also very healthy because it only had vegetables.
Adol made Chocolate Cookies and our class thought that they were not very healthy because they had one cup of sugar and a lot of chocolate.
Ben's Honey Carrots were sort of healthy. The carrots were the healthy part and our class thought that the butter and honey made the carrots unhealthy.
We thought that Jasmine's Vegie Man was very healthy because it was only made out of vegetables.
Grace made a Funny Face out of cheese, tomato, beans, carrot and lettuce. We thought that this was a healthy meal.
