Taking Action!

Our Inquiry this term has been about caring for animals. We have had chickens and rabbits in our classroom, visited the RSPCA, listened to a vet nurse and listened to a volunteer from Wildlife Victoria. Each of these expereinces gave us ideas of what we could do to help animals. Our class has decided to raise money to buy materials to make 'nesting' boxes for a wildlife shelter. The first part of our action is to advertise our 'Rainbow Day' to the school community. This day will be used to raise money to buy the building materials. We collaborated with our buddies today to find out how to use a computer program to create the heading for our poster. We printed these headings out and then placed these on our posters.
